Unique to Interwaste, and a South African first, Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) is a boundary-pushing waste to energy technology that delivers triple gold. Co-combusting with RDF results in significant reductions of non-recyclable plastics waste to landfill, a lowering of a company’s CO2 footprint due to improved air emission quality, and to decrease the reliance of non- renewable fuels such as coal, gas and petroleum.
